The general rule: book one size above your exact headcount so people have room to actually move, dance, and not be stacked on top of each other. If you've got 15 people, the 20-passenger is comfortable. If you've got 22 people, don't squeeze into the 20 — go 30-passenger and enjoy the dance floor and restroom. Yes — and that's one of the biggest perks. All our buses are BYOB-friendly. Bring your own beer, wine, champagne, or liquor. We provide the stainless steel coolers pre-packed with ice, plastic cups, napkins, a bottle opener, and a champagne bucket. You supply the drinks; we keep them cold and the glasses ready. Illinois law requires all passengers consuming alcohol to be 21+. Valid ID checks are standard. One firm rule: no glass bottles on the bus for passenger safety. Plastic bottles, cans, and cartons are all fine.

Minimum rental times vary by bus size: 4 hours for the 20-passenger, 5 hours for the 30-passenger, and 6 hours for the 40-passenger mega bus. For most Wrigleyville bar crawls or bachelor/bachelorette nights, 5-6 hours is the sweet spot — enough time for three or four bars, travel between them, and a proper send-off at the end. You don't have to negotiate bathroom stops or wait in bar lines just to use the facilities. The 20-passenger bus doesn't include a restroom, but your driver can build in brief stops if needed. Yes — Illinois allows alcohol consumption on licensed passenger vehicles, including party buses, provided all passengers consuming alcohol are 21 or older. Gratuity is not included in our base pricing. Tips are appreciated by our drivers and reflect the level of service and attention you received. The standard range is 15-20% of the total rental cost. For exceptional service — a driver who knew all the right spots, got you VIP treatment at venues, or handled a curveball situation smoothly — 20-25% is common. Cash tips given directly to your driver at the end of the night are standard. You can also add gratuity during the booking process if you prefer.

Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at a prorated hourly rate based on your bus size. Your driver will give you a heads-up 30 minutes before your reserved time ends so you can decide whether to extend. We're generally flexible when our schedule allows — if the bus doesn't have another booking immediately following yours, extending is usually no problem. Just ask. If you think your group tends to run long (bar crawls often do), build in the extra time when booking — it's cheaper to book right than extend last-minute.
